George Pickett & Associates Staff

Howard Pickett has been with the agency since 1976 and is President. He has completed the Certified Professional Manufacturer's Representative Program. He currently covers Raleigh and the greater Charlotte area.

Jim Daniel joined our agency in May 1996. He covers western North Carolina and southwestern Virginia. He was employed for nine years at CED in various positions. Jim has completed the Certified Sales Professional Course in May of 2007.

Marc Gnau joined our staff on July 2007 after spending 25 years as a sales rep in Texas and Virginia.  Marc resides in the Summerville, SC.

Mark Overby joined our firm in June of 1999. He has worked for WW Grainger prior to his employment. Mark is covering eastern North Carolina. Mark completed the Certified Sales Professional Course in April 2007.

Chris Williamson joined our staff in September 2000. Prior to joining our staff Chris was a General Manager for an electrical distributor in the greater Richmond area. Chris covers the Richmond and Tidewater area along with northern Virginia.

Inside Sales

Marlene Helman has been with the agency since 1984. She has helped set up the NEMRA computer and coordinates most inside sales.

Jonathan Chester joined our company in November of 1998. Prior to this, he worked as a purchasing agent for a distributor for the last 6 years. Graduated from NC State University.

Carolyn Chieffo has joined our staff in the finance department on January 2007 after spending 25 years with another distributor in the Raleigh area.

Doug Huggins joined our inside sales staff in April 2006.

Annette Murchison joined our agency in January 2005.  Prior to joining our staff, she worked for a manufacturer in customer service, engineering and purchasing department for 18 years.

Joan Pickett has been with the agency since 1962 and handles the payroll and serves as the office manager.

Coleen Quirk has rejoined our staff in January 2003.  She handles order entry and inside sales.
